Michael recently purchased his new Cricut machine and wanted to learn crafting as a hobby. Since he was a newbie, he asked me for my help. I helped him with machine setup and taught him the basics of Cricut machines. Finally, when he was able to use this Cricut machine, he asked me to teach him the easiest projects that he could make.

To teach him, Michael and I shifted together to work on DIY projects. As a result, two of us made 50+ projects from scratch. I am going to cover all those projects that I created with my best friend. 1. Paper Bouquet

When Michael was given a choice to select his first project, he chose a paper bouquet. I asked him why he wanted to make a paper bouquet. And why not something else?

He said, “I want to offer this to my girlfriend.” Seeing his excitement, I couldn’t say NO. Hence, we started making this cardstock paper bouquet. The materials and machines I used in this project were cardstock and my trusty Cricut Maker. Besides, I purchased an SVG file from the Design Space. So you can also buy it or get some designs for free.

To me, a cardstock paper bouquet is one of the best things to make with Cricut. What do you think?

2. Pantry Labels

One of the best qualities of my friend is that he always thinks about others. As his second project, he wanted to make some pantry labels to help his mom. And you won’t believe it, Micahel had worked on this project from start to end without my help.

I didn’t even guide him through the process. That’s why I call iron-on projects the easiest one and most suitable for beginners. All you need is the basic guidance to handle the machine and materials.

3. Personalized Mugs

Want to create personalized mugs for your parent’s anniversary? If yes, you need to give it a try! Personalized mugs are one of my all-time favorite things to make with Cricut. For this, you will need an extra device, i.e., Cricut Mug Press. However, you will also want a sublimated or poly-coated mug, which you can also get from Cricut’s website.

Although Michael didn’t have this device, he used mine, Mug Press, to make these beautiful mugs for his parents. His parents loved his crafts.

4. Coasters

Coasters are useful, especially when you are spending a long time on your study table or due to office-related work. I love to give a touch of nature to everything. Therefore, I put the leafy designs onto these coasters. These ceramic-made coasters can easily stick to the vinyl. And coming to the outcomes that are in front of you!

So, be it coasters or anything else, you need to be a little creative. Even if you are not, you can find various ready-made designs from the Design Space. Just upload them onto your Cricut canvas, and you are ready to go!

5. Vinyl Shirt

I always prefer personalized shirts with catchy lines or quotes. For this project, Michael helped me choose the best texts for my T-shirt. However, I made this project myself because it was Michael’s first project. So, I didn’t want to ruin my clothes. Yet, he learned all the steps I followed through till the end. So here is something I made for my girlfriend. I remember once I gifted her leather earrings, and she loved them, and since then, I always made one for her.
